Tried Installing Frunk LED -- Looking for Help

Hi All,

I tried installing the Frunk LED strip (on my 2020 M3P) that you see on a lot of the aftermarket sites: ( https://www.amazon.com/GreceYou-Waterproof-Surround-Lighting-Flexible/dp/B0BM4856WS/ )

I messed it up after trying to splice and then reconnect the wires using the provided splitter. Super odd result -- the frunk emergency release button still works when I connect the wires, but the frunk emergency release light is out, and the light bar wont light up.

Any advice?

If anyone has a good electrician in SoCal that I can bring it to for a fix, I would really appreciate that too.

I ran into this problem when installing my aliexpress kit today. Turning the car off and then on again fixed the issue for me.
