Trunk stopped beeping

Hey all,

I noticed that my trunk beep has stopped. Does anyone know if there’s an easy way to toggle this that may have happened, or do I need to take it in?

I forget whether the speaker is accessible through the opening revealed when you remove the handle, but that would be easy enough to check. The connector could have come loose, or the speaker may have failed. I actually unplugged the speaker in both of my cars. Consider yourself lucky that the car did it for you!
