Trunk double beep and residual movement

Hi all. My 2019 LR MS has developed a quirk after I (admittedly) helped push down the trunk when I had a tight clearance on a full truckload.

Ever since, each time my trunk opens, it opens fully, beeps twice, comes down about an inch, and stops. It's been doing this consistently for a few months. I've tried the 2-scroll wheel restart and a power off, but no change.

Any suggestions on a DIY fix?

About 18 months ago, I had something similar happen with my 2016 MS. While there was no event that caused it, over time it just started to shake a bit at the top of the opening cycle, drop an inch and beep twice. I simply reset the max height so that it stopped about an inch lower than max and that seems to have fixed the issue. There may be something that is wearing and will eventually break, but so far so good.
