My car insurance in the US for my 2016 model S is $2300 a year. I have a $2019 Chevy Silverado 4X4 and that is $1650 a year. Sounds like car insurance for the Tesla is higher for some reason. If that accident report is accurate that may be why. I call Bullshit on that tho.

By comparison my 2018 S insurance as USD last time was $535 in ⅓-the-risk UK market region.
