UK leased, Model Y Long Range, mandatory servicing/schedule?

Milage would advise.

There's oil in the drive unit that doesn't last forever. A check of the radiator coolant fluid is scheduled as well.

Check your contract. If I was running a lease operation I wouldn't be trusting clients to get the necessaries done and would have an arrangement with Tesla that called you in when required.

I'm wondering what a lease company would expect, want to avoid a hit when it handing it back. Cheers

What Maintenance Does A Tesla Need?

Here’s an overview of the recommended maintenance schedule for Tesla cars:

Tesla Maintenance ServiceMaintenance Service Interval
Cabin air filter replacementEvery 2 years
High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter replacementEvery 3 years
Tire rotation, balance and wheel alignmentEvery 6,250 miles
Brake fluid testEvery 2 years, and replace as needed
Air conditioning serviceEvery 2 years for Model S, every 4 years for Model X and Model Y, and every 6 years for Model 3
Winter care for brake calipersEvery 12 months/12,500 miles in cold climates

This is a standard US recommendation. In UK we don’t do tire rotation and brake calipers is up to you as Tesla doesn’t insist.

You can book in your app as service and request the relevant service. I paid £120 for my 2 year service including brake fluid, air filter and some brake check.

My lease company didn’t even bother. But they checked whether a 2 year service booking was done. That’s it.
