Ultra White Headliner Mod?

Has anyone tried dying the headliner of a Model S or Model X white ultra white seats to also be white? Sometime I feel like the interior of our Model X is too dark even with the white seats

It could easily be reupholstered in any color you would want. Upholstering the sunvisors would be the biggest challenge. I have upholstered headliners before and the visors are always the most time consuming.

probably similar to tan but i would feel like it would be more distracting(blinding). i am bias to my black headliner

I went the other direction: beige to charcoal/black, because (1) beige is the most blah color out there and gets dirty easily, (2) I don't like the "distraction" of a light headliner/pillars, especially with night driving...I feel like it's always drawing my attention to it and fatiguing my eyes.

However, my opinions are just my own, and if you want to go full white interior on your own, I'm building a DIY guide as I make progress on my project...hopefully it helps! Be prepared...it's a much bigger project than I had originally anticipated...
