I was reading about the upcoming faster super chargers and wondered how much it would help teslas currently out on the road.
Tesla aims to release more powerful Supercharger V3 for quicker charging this summer
If the charge taper starts at around 40% are we to assume that current battery chemistry could accept a higher rate of charge than ~120kW from 10% to 40%? Under 10% it doesn't seem to max out and after 40% it drops off.
Basing it off charge speeds listed here:
Supercharger speed: 116kW
Thoughts?
