Upgrading from SR+ to LR RWD | Increasing Financing

Anyone experienced with ordering a Model 3, then changing it to an inventory car that was more expensive? I did just that going from SR+ to LR RWD. Now my cash due at delivery is way higher AND I already got a text message confirming my delivery appointment.

Do you know the process for increasing the loan amount? Would I have to reapply for credit or would my delivery specialist just change something on their end?

If you got approved for (just an example) $30k then that's all you'll get. Any upgrades are going to cost you cash at this point. You could reapply for more financing, but getting approved would ultimately depend on the bank. There is nothing the delivery specialist could do.

I think the Tesla number on your account page has a finance option on the automated menu? I called them to decrease my down payment when they increased it after I was upsold to a LR from MR and they did it.
