Upgrading Hansshow Trunk V4 to V7?

Hi everyone

I currently have the Hansshow trunk V4, which I am very pleased with. But the struts are horrible, and having started causing a ton of trouble for me. I can try to have them exchanged by support, but the design is not really good.

The V7 struts seem pretty sturdy, and I thought if anyone had any experience in upgrading to V7 without doing too much? I am looking to upgrade just the control box and the struts, but leave everything in place.

I did V4 to V7 upgrade by changing just struts and ECU. Installation went smoothly.
V4 springs broke out just after 12 months of use. Hopefully the new ones will last longer.

I tried to make the same movement and ot was not possible. The new ECU has a new black state signal port, so you need to install the new harness. In addition I did not make it work w/o installing the CAN bus cable. Well it didn't work and my guess is because of the lack of the Can signal...
