USAA and Tempe Delivery

IF you use USAA for your financing, be aware that, at Tempe and perhaps other locations, they are NOT accepting the "Dealer Funding Request" application. You should ideally show up at the Tempe center with a paper check. I was one the phone with my Tesla purchase coordinator and USAA for hours the week before delivery trying to sort this out. In the end it worked out, but spent a lot of time on the phone with USAA getting a Fed Reserve confirmation number for the electronic transfer of funds. Seems backward that, in 2018, Tesla prefers paper checks over electronic transfers.
