V11.1 to V12

I’m currently on v11.1 ⁦(2024.8.9 0cac3042b6cd)⁩ on my 2020 model 3 performance. I would like to take advantage of the $99 full self driving offer, but I’m concerned that I’m not on V12 yet. Will that automatically update after I subscribe?

Same here. Nor sure if they are late or if our legacy cars do not support FSD.

The 2024.8.x builds don’t have FSD v12 yet, so you’ll have to wait until Tesla updates that branch. Note that the v11.1 shown in the first post is the UI version, not the FSD version. All builds, including those with FSD v12, are UI version v11.1.

First of all the v11.1 that you’re seeing is the UI version, NOT the FSD version

My car on 2024.3.15 with FSDS v12.3.4 is still v11.1 UI

Second, no you will not get an update to FSDS v12.3.x just buy paying for the subscription. You will have access to FSDb v11.4.x. FSDS v12.x will not come to your car until whenever Tesla updates 2024.8.x or higher software version with FSDS v12.x
