V9 in Europe!

Looking at teslafi it appears a few MS in Europe (France and Finland) have been upgraded to 42.2. I am a bit excited as this must mean the beginning of a v9 release in Europe!

That sounds more like the updated maps. Too big for the V9 update.

In the US I just dial the local service center. They referred me to a firmware update team that can remotely push firmware updates to owners. I was approaching 48 days without an update.

48 days is nothing. I'm on 32.4 for 60 days now, but this is no reason to call a service center. They are super busy and don't enjoy people calling for software updates as far as I know. I've been without updates for longer than 60 days before, eventually an update will come. And yes, my Model S is in good wifi every night.

Got 2018.42.2 this morning. Sadly I’m not likely to be driving until...not sure when. Ordinarily I’d be looking forward to a 200 mile trip from Cambridge on Thursday returning next Monday but times have changed.

The release notes looked neat. No sign of ‘drive on nav’.
I like the new, simpler, design.
