Btw, model x has front and rear fog lights. I run with fog lights all the time. I used them with my S too. We've got many foggy mornings and, as stated earlier, the fog lights help illuminate better than low lights alone. I did notice that the turning lights are brighter than my S as well.

Headlights are fine. Don't sweat it. We visited my in laws in rural areas and live in a city. It's great in any situation but the high beam auto needs help. Still it's better than my old S.

I think that only affected Y/3 Performance vehicles. I hear lots of rumors but the only actual change the past 6 months was the rear screen bezel is way smaller making the rear screen viewable image size effectively 50 percent bigger. I'm sure big changes to come but when is just unknown.

My parents have a Y and it's definitely stiff and jarring. I had an S with springs and it was so much better than the Y. I'm not sure why they couldn't get air suspension in the Y but the refresh X suspension is sublime.

I don't like the new chargeport. No bright light to help at night and motorized door is slow and doesn't always open at supercharger with wand button. Heck, even physically opening it is harder.

I'll definitely be bugging my service center for a rear screen replacement. It's a much more efficient use of the rear screen. Definitely legacy screens are in inferior.

My 2023 X is quieter than my 2016 S but it's not hugely quieter. I definitely feel it has fewer drafts and stays warmer in the cabin longer so they definitely did something to help with sound and wind intrusion which was my biggest issue with the 2016 S.

I washed my model S be keyfob 4 times. I dried it in the dryer twice. It had a silicone sleeve and worked fine for 6 years. I have no experience with the latest fob on how it would fare unprotected.

You need to press the red dot to record footage before you drive again. Honk to record helps but I've noticed a half second gap sometimes around the honk which is stupid and counterproductive.

Matrix requires different electronics. Doubtful it can be retrofitted but all refresh cars were advertised as coming with a swiveling screen. I think Tesla will have to figure that one out but then again, we know several things Tesla has failed on from vanity lights to FSD.
