Vehicle will consume more energy when idle?

Got into the car today - wtf??! Scheduled service but had software update pending so installed that and it's not come back. Hopefully software bug, wonder if anyone else had this too?

Did you ever get this sorted out? I started getting this message about a week ago and the car wont sleep since then. Service is scheduled but first available appointment was 3 weeks out so I still have 2 weeks to go.

Having seen posts on Reddit yes I'd agree this is the most likely cause.

The car got towed away two weeks ago, got major electrical system failure. 2nd time in 5 months of owning car, extremely pissed and requested replacement. After this message, all cameras went then got this message and could no longer stick the car in drive. The original message about consuming more energy was also popping up every two seconds.

When they turned up the following day to tow it, the 12v battery had died. I've been told the power converter module has been replaced, and I think they had to replace the 12v as a result of it being depleted, but still yet to discuss next steps.

It sounds like the 12V is not working well but why is another issue. For example, as you mentioned: DC-to-DC converter failure which couldn't charge the 12V. Replacing those 2 should get you back on the road!
