Or maybe you were just being impatient:

North American Winners:
  • Gatineau, Quebec
  • Brick Township, New Jersey
  • Bryce Canyon City, Utah
  • Park City, Utah
  • Cherokee, North Carolina
And they added some bonus sites:
  • Ashland, Wisconsin
  • Bergerac, France
  • Bangor, United Kingdom
Note that the above Bangor is the one in Wales, not the one in Northern Ireland. That will help with Anglesey and doing a loop around Wales, but still leaves Central Wales as a charging desert.

Gatineau, QC is an "about time".
Cherokee, NC is great because of the location near the National Park but it's also on 3 US Numbered Highways (well, 2 plus near enough to US-74).

Ashland, WI is also a nice add. That's on US-2 and it's under 100 miles from Minocqua, WI so it'll make at least one bridge. And although it's still 210-220 miles from Escanaba, MI, it sets things up nicely for other additions (Tesla or NEVI) to make travel across Northern Wisconsin much easier.

Take 37 instead of 97 and the gap can be reduced to 468 miles.
Still not good. The chargers at the south end of 37 are 25kW and supposedly unreliable. The RV parks along 37 are TT-30 (10 miles/hour) so even an overnight stay won't get you much. There's a bit of J1772 to be hand along 97 at least where an overnight stay could fill you up.

But a few well placed 50kw stations would do the job to make it vastly easier to cross that gap, though still issues in east Alaska.
