Want to buy 3rd row seats for model X

I don't think anyone can sit there. I don't think the new 7-seat configuration is simply a 5-seat with the rear seat bolted in, the 2nd row seat is different.

You're right. The 2nd row doesn't slide forward in the 5-seater, but it does slide forward in the 7-seater/fold flat, so that the third row can be accessed.

No, the 7 seater does not come with the same bench as the 5 seater. (The 7 seater has an electronic release and slides forward, the 5 seater does not slide at all, and it only folds flat with a lever on the side that you wouldn't be able to reach from the third row, so you would be trapped unless someone let you out.)
