Waxing the Car

what kinds of wax or ceramic are people using i tried the Chemical Guys HydroSlick Intense Gloss SiO2 Ceramic Coating HyperWax it goes on pretty easy wiping off well its different i have never used this type of coating before.. so i did notice the little bit of rain we had this morning really did bead up..

Avalon King DIY ceramic coating on my MYP. 2 coats over everything: paint, glass, lenses, wheels. Holding up great 15 months later...

CG used to have decent stuff for the DIYer. However, once bought by WM, they went down hill.
Turtle Wax hybrid ceramic gets decent reviews for DIYer. Just put it on my sons car this weekend. I am sure there are more experienced people on here that can recommend a better DIY solution. I was only looking for 3-4 months protection.
The key is to decontaminate the paint first, then put the ceramic on
