Car wash wax effect on camera

Did you guys noticed any effect on camera(s) after washing the car? I can imagine a degradation in the capacity of recognizing the objects and distances (anyway off by at least one feet, without wax).
On the photo / video camera, wax on lens is a disaster..

I hand wash all 3 of our Teslas with a combo of Chemical Guys and Meguiar’s wash and spray wax, with some occasional liquid carnauba wax and have never had any issues. Key is to simply wipe it off!

I wanted to ceramic coat my windshield (which would cover the front cameras), but I never got an answer as to how/if it will affect FSD (not that I feel it can get worse).

I ended up ceramic coating my back-up camera with out any noticeable effects. I got a wax carwash on my Model Y and normal highway autopilot didn't change (but I don't have FSD on my MY, only my M3 so I can't fully test it). I wish Tesla would make a clear statement as to whether wax/ceramic coating on the cameras will cause FSD to act up (anymore than it does already!).
