Web Browser: only on wifi?

I've noticed that my model 3's web browser only works on wifi - not on LTE. I can't find any documentation about this - is that expected?

On LTE, I put in a URL, and nothing happens (no error, just nothing).

Mine works on LTE. I haven't used it much but I did a test in a parking lot somewhere. I went to fast.com and performed the speed test.

Maybe bad AT&T connection? Tesla in US uses AT&T right?

There's a known defect with the browser too that it looses LTE connection. So you have to reset the nav with holding down the two buttons on the steering wheel and it should work again after it restarts

Mine works on LTE, but it only works about 1 time in 100. It's definitely a weak spot.

I had the exact same problem on 39.7 - off of WiFi it never did anything other than show a white screen. Just got the 42.3 update and now it seems to work great.

Tried it today... got the white screen. Looks like there is strong connection but the browser does not respond to anything. So I did a two buttons reboot. After the reboot, the Cellular icon shows no signal for about 20 seconds... and then full bars LTE. Tried the browser and it works like normal again.

Problem went away for me on 42.4, probably because that upgrade induced a reboot
