What ever happened to the fix for the yellow borders on the main center touchscreen

I reported my issue two years ago. Tesla told me that they were working on a fix. I read a few people talk about some device that they put over the screen to delete the yellow border, but since then I haven't seen or heard anything. Honestly I just forgot about it.

Anyone have experience with the fix, or is there anyone like me still waiting.

I am out of warranty but since it was reported previously I assume they will honor it.

Schedule an appointment. They will let you know if the have the lamp or when they will get it at your local service center. Had my cars fixed half a year ago, but had to wait a few weeks for them to get the device. The fix appears to be complete and flawless.

Agree with @nigelboid. The fix is alive and well. The fix works. It was done to mine in Jan. The cook the screen with a UV light. Takes a while. Try to make your appointment early in the morning, so it will be on the screen all day.

i had mine in december, so far still holding up.. but asking me again in 2 years
