I was giving someone their first ride in a Tesla (my brand new model Y, my first Tesla). While I was driving, and watching the road, they started touching the screen. I'm not sure where in the menu system they were, I think in either the entertainment section or toy box. They told me they received a prompt/query that required them to say they were a passenger before it would proceed.
I had not seen this discussed and I can't find anything about this in the Owners Manual.
Are there UI/screen related functions that are completely disabled while driving?
Are there some UI/screen related functions that are disabled while driving unless you say you are a passenger?.
