What's my best option for getting a M3 by November?

i reserved about a year ago and lease a Model X. My lease is up in November. I can afford to buy any trim. I don't need AWD. I'd prefer the white interior, but would take black. I'm paying cash. I don't mind getting the M3 earlier than November. I've had good luck with my Model X, but don't need another super expensive vehicle. I delayed ordering because I would like to sit in one prior to ordering. I'm sure it drives well--it's a Tesla.

I know it's a guesstimate.

I'd be surprised if either option you mentioned took longer than November.

You can probably get the LR RWD car next week or the following one, and they'll be prioritizing Performance cars once they get those rolling I assume (they always have before.)

Just gotta figure out what you really want. For most purposes, the X is a better car, for more money obviously.

I really like the Model X. I don't need a SUV, but I like the ride height and comfort. I wouldn't mind the longer range of the M3, and the lower price is a big bonus.

If you go for one of the cars currently being delivered, you have a good change.
If you want white. that's a seat of another color
Any of the LR non dual options on the configurator should be relatively easy.

Order LR rwd....they match up available cars with buyers. Some have gotten them within weeks of reserving.
