Where do the new floor mats go?

Got the Evannex Luxe mats, really like how plush they are. Should I just put them on top of the existing OEM mats?

This won't work for the driver side front mats (because of the mat fastener), but curious about the other mats.

Under the FAQ section of the site you bought it from, it says not to place them on top of the OEM mats.

I saw that ... it makes no sense (other than for the driver's side)

I would pull the OEM mats and store them. Save them for summer or for down the road (if and) when you sell the car. They'll be brand new!
