Forgive my naivete but how does a Tesla get stolen?

Not the first time. A real story that sounds just like a perfect fiction from Utah:

4 Tesla cars stolen from Utah Tesla Store

All 4 were retrieved in the same night:

First suspect saw a police car and turned himself in.

Second suspect saw a police car and didn't turn himself in. That was until the car ran out of battery

Third suspect was pulled over by police

Fourth suspect was spotted at a liquor store (Isn't what FSD for?).

There are a variety of ways to steal a Tesla:

1) Most popular way is just use a fob that someone just lays it around.
2) Relay attack: for those who know about electronics.
