Why is the "Boom box" feature turn off when I shut either one of the two front doors?

I don't understand why the "Boom box" feature shuts off completely when I get out of the car and shut either one of the front doors. Want to listen while working in my garage and nearby patio.

Has anyone on TMC written a bottom-up "user's manual" for how Boom box works, and how to best get the most out of the features? ... and the controls to control it?

According to the manual, you can use Boombox when you’re not in the car by turning on Camp Mode. Otherwise Boombox only works when the car is on and in Park. Link to manual section: https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/...tml#GUID-F5314683-2106-4326-A7FC-8C0DFB222139
Thanks for that great info!

Yes, the BoomBox feature works when Camp Mode is enabled!

(but I can often not find what I'm looking for in the owner's manual. I can bring it up on the screen, but it seems to have no search feature. Perhaps I should ask about that in a new thread: How do people access/find good info in the owners manual if search is not available?)

I rarely use the manual in the car. The online versions are easier to use and searchable: https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual
