When you're done with your iCE there's no real aftermarket for the engine except for re builders but old EV batteries are a target for grid storage.

It's just the whole tax credit thing and incentives.

Final price after all taxes and incentives on a 2016 Volt in California was $25k OTD.

Now, use that number in California to look at depreciation.
