Will be turning my MY in Nov of 2023~Want to buy it. How??

Yes, I know that I cannot "buy out" my leased MY. We decided to lease as this was our first Tesla (now another on order, M3 SR) and I believed the horror stories about quality control. Turns out our MY was perfect. Beautiful car. How the heck can I purchase "my" car from Tesla when I turn it in?

Suggestions would be appreciated.

Since it would take about a year, that may not be an option.

TBH, I'd go for a new one. Too many updates since the OP's Y.

Likely what I'll have to do. I like the MY we have as it's stone reliable, very well built and just a really great EV. Now, if the 4680 LR MYs were out in 2023...

That’s what I would do. You’ll get a newer vehicle with newer tech. There’s also the possibility that a different brand of EV takes your fancy. It’s an ass that you’ll be spending on a lease that won’t end up being yours, which would annoy me.
