Will the MY have the same dirt buildup in the rear bumper as the M3?

I know this article is one of many on this subject, along with bumpers falling off M3s while driving through puddles, but now that folks have started to accumulate mileage on MYs across more driving scenarios, I was wondering if there was a different design to the MY rear bumper that prevented this issue from happening?
