Window cleaner, what product(s) you recommend?

What product(s) do you recommend for cleaning the exterior windows and roof of a Model X in Hawaii?

The gent that bought my MS swears by Zani glass cleaner, but I can’t find it anywhere. He got it at Longs. Last time I saw my former MS the windows look super clean and almost seemed to have a glassy refined finish.

For now, I used Windex and then giving RainX a try. Already know not to use RainX where the wipers run. Will still look for Zani.

Make your own, will not leave a film and will reduce drastically the amount of fogging over time. Here is the simple formula.

denatured alcohol and most importantly water distilled water. Not have any contaminates is important over time. The ratio of alcohol to water is 10 parts water to one part alcohol.

How to use:
1) Wet window using sprayer

2) Rub hard over all the surface ( I know, no different then other cleaners )

3) Now rub the area with an absolutely dry paper towel, it will remove what ever was on the surface and will be feel really dry with lots of resistance.

4) Do it again, until all contaminates are removed.

PS: Practice on a mirror and you will understand what I am talking about.

When drying with the paper towel wipe/rub horizontal on one side and vertical on the other. Help you see where streaks and spots still exists.

I like the up/down vs. side/side advice although I’ve read not to use paper towels. Something about them being too abrasive.
