Windows damaged while rolled down..?

Hello,

Recently I noticed my rear passenger window has taken some kind of damage. I have checked Sentry Events, and i park garaged both at home and work. I am curious if anyone else has occurred any scratched while the windows have been rolled down possibly from debris? The damage is localized to this window and completely uniform across the entire surface.

Any ideas or thoughts?

I have not seen this on my car or recall on anyone’s here. I’d take it into service. Maybe something fell inside the door or something came loose inside it that is now rubbing when it’s retracted and raised.

My Model S had similar scratches on the driver side front window. The mobile tech came out and determined it was some loose mechanical pieces inside the door that was rubbing on the window every time it went up and down. He adjusted the mechanical parts and then ordered a new window. The tech came back out after the window came in and no issues since.
