Windshield protection film

I’ve seen a few posts on the other forums but I’ve done a little research on this and I’m leaning towards getting this done considering the high cost of windshield replacement. The only question I have is do any of these films interfe with EAP? Contacted a few of the manufacturers and haven’t heard back yet. Any thoughts?

If your car insurance has a glass only reduced deductible option you may want to add it. My model 3 windshield was cracked just 8 days after delivery. It is now at Tesla being replaced. It is $978 but my deductible is $100. I don't know how much those film and installation will cost, but it will probably be over $500? I am not sure I would need to replace the windshield over 5 times in the life of the car...
