Wipers and Screen Washer

Hi all, I have just bought my first Tesla two weeks ago 2016 model s 90D.

Up until a couple of days ago I was happy as larry. My Windscreen washers where not working so reported to Tesla who replaced the Motor this morning. This evening Both the Washer motor and wipers packed up. I have to pull over. switch the car off and do a reset on the Tesla to get the wipers back into position. The where fine on the up but slow and jamming on the down. Any thoughts, is this common. I have just moved from a Toyota Hilux which I have done 270k miles in 8 years miles in without 1 single fault. Is this a common fault with the Tesla.

Never heard of it happening before. Sounds like either the replacement motor was faulty or more likely the installation was done wrong. The repair should be under warranty.

Yep, was warrantee and have booked another service appointment. Whats your experience been like reference reliability

Sounds like a bad connection or ground is crusty. Hopefully it's not the wire harness. If the tech was rushed or on the phone they may have missed something.

Mobile service should be able to figure it out, how far from the service center are you?
