Won't Open Charge Port if Foot is On the Brake

Just another heads-up to fellow newbies: If your foot is on the brake, the Tesla won't open the charge port even if you're in Park.

Easier to hit the button on the charge plug or hit the charge door to make it open.

2013 Model S85 owner here. I came to discover the chargeport door not opening while the brake pedal is pressed about a year ago. I suspect this occurred after a software update because I used to open the chargeport door while pressing the brake all the time at Supercharger sites in the past. The first time the door didn't open I panicked a bit thinking, "oh no how am I going to charge the car...I don't want to have to learn how to manually release the door somehow." Lo and behold, it opened when I pressed the touchscreen while standing outside of the car. Just another one of those software changes that occurs without notification.
