Have you been uncorked? Post your impressions!

Don't forget that applying the "P" or "+" will also add an additional 5-6 HP. And I think I still have a VTEC sticker around the garage somewhere, that'll give another 10+HP!!!

Show me those Arachnid wheels / Spiders!

I do not have the acoustics, but definitely more road noise (expected it with such low profile tires). I actually notice that they feel slower than the 19s despite reduced weight. Handling though is definitely better, better cornering and more "ride on rails" feeling.

75 and 75D variants increased performance from July 1st - software and hardware improvements?

Probably not from my experience. In our case, they overfilled for winter, so they were at 46psi at 45 deg. out when I made the run. There was more than just slight wheel slip so that could count for a bit, but I did not see the traction control kick in. A tiny bit is a good indication of the...

75 and 75D variants increased performance from July 1st - software and hardware improvements?

*** Update *** Dry conditions tonight, little better time. Still had a little wheel slip, should be able to go below 4.0 if I let some air out of her tires I think... the SC "over-filled" them for winter.

    Pictures of production Model 3s

The owner asked not to publicize photos so I will respect his wishes, but I will hint that you may catch it some days at the Grand Ave location and some days in Westmont ;-)

75 and 75D variants increased performance from July 1st - software and hardware improvements?

Tried it, and no... "performance" code didn't do anything, no menu option to emulate a 60D.

    Pictures of production Model 3s

Had a chance to sit in a white 3 for the first time on Monday morning... was drizzling but still well worth it. Didn't get a chance to check the vin, but it was only recently delivered to the midwest, first in Chicagoland area. Really, the proportions are much better than in the photos as some...

75 and 75D variants increased performance from July 1st - software and hardware improvements?

I've wondered about the "HP" figures, with the apps, I figure the calculations are basically WHP whereas the motor numbers of "at the crank" so to speak. Not really quite sure if or how to factor in losses due to the "drivetrain" in an electric vehicle. Perhaps some experts can chime in or...

75 and 75D variants increased performance from July 1st - software and hardware improvements?

Completely agree with this statement! The uncorked 75D is like a NOS injected vehicle... more of a rush, less smooth on the delivery, raw is the perfect description. The 90D (have not driven a 100D) feels more refined.

Homelink auto close reliable for you?

The Homelink auto-open/close is reliable for me but ONLY after tweaking the "activation" distance. I have to play around with it so that it would activate when I approached the edge of my driveway with the front facing the garage. If I backup... doesn't work most of the time. If I set the...
