Plaid: max miles decreased 333->312 for last 2 months.

yeah… charged twice till 100% and sleep for few hours - zero changes. Range 313 miles, same as was projected at different soc. Now 50% soc and teslamate reports 314miles… I’m using teslamate, so I know trend of max range during last two years. Waiting till car have 10% to repeat procedure.

Plaid: max miles decreased 333->312 for last 2 months.

I was doubt either EPA 2024 propagates to previous year cars (they technically are the same). OK, it might not be a case, because I do not see any related threads here. I charged car to 100% few weeks ago, I did not help. Will try charge to 100% and keep it for few hours. Otherwise, there is...

Plaid: max miles decreased 333->312 for last 2 months.

I have 2y old 24k miles MSP 21". What I'm observing it's rapid "degradation" in projected max miles. 2 months ago it was like ~333-335, according to teslammate. This degradation was slow from 348 till 333 for 2 years. Now in 2 months it lost 25 miles or 7%. Projected range keep getting...

Plaid 21” rear tire woes - factory defect?

Same impression. Put 500 miles on new setup: 20” square- well alignment - with adj rear arms. It’s day and night difference. Soft, comfortable and safe

    Square vs staggered

A bit info on PS4 AS. I had 20k miles in OEM PS4S. 21", they were not so comfortable, but handling were fantastic! PS4 AS: I'm impressed with ride quality on 285/35/20 All Seasons. Much softer which is immediately noticeable. All passenger told same - it's comfortable to ride. I put already...

    Square vs staggered

One more data point on square setup. Switched from 21" Arachnids (plan to sale them) Swtched to: 20x10" ET35. Tires 285/35/20 Michelin Pilot Sport AS 4. I read all threads and still was not sure what combo is working the best for plaid & med+ driving (no track/strip) Thanks to @Muzzman1...

Vendor Official Atomic Wheels thread for Model S 21+

Finally I swapped staggered 21" Arachnid to 20" square! Rims definitely lighter than stock - confirmed by scale & @ss ;) Aside from that I wanted to say thanks to Atomic Wheels for fulfilling my request on getting rims 20x10" (not 20x10.5" as per website).

    Macsboost vs N2itive

Finally, it happened.... I did my wheels alignment today! New rims, new tires & new (pre-owned, but new for me) adj rear camber arms. There was recommendation for Monrovia Alignment, but I think I found better shop. Tire Man shop at Thousand Oaks , recommended by N2itive, did alignment same...

    Macsboost vs N2itive

That's fine. I learnt from it. I hope it will be good insight for others.

    Macsboost vs N2itive

Subjectively: initially bought macboost shims in hope of easy installation and quick solution for tires premature wearing. So installation- pain in ass. Who designed those arc ?! Eventually I cut shims in two washers and asked extra hands. Installation is not for one person and not dyi friendly...

    Plaid Vibration around 38-42MPH....

Interesting. Tested yesterday 40-50 range, low acceleration- no vibration at all. I had very low vibration in that range (or high tolerance to it) but now car os silk.

    20" Wheel Fitment and Setups

I'm about to put 20" square setup. 9.5" narrows, 10.5" wide (for front, where 9.5 is by design). So for me right choice looks as 20"x10". The question I have is what is the right ET for such setup ? Do I need spacers for rears ?

Plaid 21” rear tire woes - factory defect?

It's business, nobody wants to pay. But ball on Michelin side. To make claim that it's Tesla's issue, they must to perform same operation as Tesla - find issue with suspension. For sure Michelin won't do that. Second remember, T2 mark on tire- is approved tires for MS. How Michelin & Tesla...

Plaid 21” rear tire woes - factory defect?

That's tricky question. If you have official response that your vehicle inspected and alignment conforms specs, then you can state it's Michelin issues. T2 on tires says that tires designed for tesla, to be precise to Tesla S. If Tesla says alignments is fine, Micheline should say the same, but...
