Additional type 2 cable - good price?

Yup, depending on length you'll be looking to pay between £100 and £200 for a decent quality cable. I've had a good experience with evonestopshop and evcables.

Collected your M3 and have reserved one since Day 1

Of more relevance is the spec ordered and how that matches what Tesla decided to build.

Collected your M3 and have reserved one since Day 1

Not a day 1 reserver (because I was on holiday), but a first weeker and first day orderer (timeline in sig).

    Thoughts on Sentry Mode

I was, but it was using too much battery and being triggered over 70 times a day by people walking or driving past, so am only going to use it when parked in sketchy areas. It also didn't overwrite.

    Model 3 RHD Rubber Mats

Not yet and my local service centre said they wouldn't have any for 3-6 months.

    Model 3 CCS Charger Compatibility

No problem with the Pod Point rapid at Lidl on Muller Road, Bristol, or the Chargemaster at the Co-op in Newark.

Model 3 - Open charge port door when car is locked.

My house. I might park up at night, but want to charge from the solar in the daytime, so won't plug in until later (my cables cross a pavement).

Give ONE reason why you purchased a Tesla

Model 3 LR AWD (details in sig). To give me back my freedom after 3 and a half years with my Leaf. I can now do everything I used to do in my Prius, including two week camping holidays (with the kitchen sink). The Leaf was great for 95% of my driving, but the limited range did stop me from...

What's the process for paint / alignment defect correction?

My journey was well over 100 miles, but I spotted the defects and made the appointment before then (and was never told a 100 mile limit, they did mention the 7 day/1,000 mile limit). If they do say that you only have 100 miles to report the issue then make sure you conduct a thorough inspection...

What's the process for paint / alignment defect correction?

Maybe there aren't that many people with defects. I've posted elsewhere about my experience, but can repeat it here. There were a couple of light scratches and one heavy scratch noted at delivery (that they had tried and failed to fix because they weren't fully set up) and immediately booked in...

Model 3 type 2 cable length

Mine was 4m, and you can't daisy chain type 2 cables together, you need a dedicated extension cable.

    Are you a creeper?

First week I had my first automatic it crept into the back of another car at a roundabout as I wasn't expecting it to keep moving after I've stopped. I turn creep off when I have the option so I don't have to remember which car I'm in and whether it is going to keep moving after I've brought it...

    The M3 Photo Thread

I found the best prices from evonestopshop (and are who I bought my extension cable from for my Leaf).

    The M3 Photo Thread

Mine is 4m, which is alas 1m too short. I did ask them to change it but they said 4m was standard (I was always intending to buy a longer one anyway as I can't always park right outside my house).
