    RHD Model 3 Wiper Size

Found out he hard way that the BOSCH wiper set with code A310S will NOT fit. The lengths are right and clipping mechanism _looks_ correct for a RHD car (not up side down)...but the clipping mechanism is just a tiny bit too wide. Doesn't fit. Apart from the clipping mechanism being slightly...

Droning/humming sound when turning at low speeds

Is anyone else noticing a low droning or humming noise when turning moderately or sharply at low speeds? Like at a round-a-bout or car parks, or just a tight 90 degree turn. There is also a very slight vibration in the steering wheel. I can't tell if it's just tire noise, or something else...

My VIN is in the same range (also a P3-). I had my delivery cancelled last week and was told the car is still being unloaded. Mine is being delivered to Canberra. Where did you pick up yours?

    Insurance quotes for Australian M3?

They are the same company trading as 2 different names. Go with whichever is cheaper.

    Insurance quotes for Australian M3?

Suncorp platinum cover (same as the above post). $1660 (Excess $1250) for Performance 3 in VIC. I think it's a reasonable price.

    Tesla Model 3 in Australia

Wow Tesla service is seriously bad. I was scheduled to receive the car this Friday 27th 9am in Canberra. I emailed them and called them multiple times to confirm my payment and confirm the date. Today I finally got a reply saying "the car is still being unloaded form the vessel and it is...

I don't think you'll have a choice to start with. I called up Access Canberra and they told me I would be issued with the standard plate on the spot. If I want any different kind of plates, I'd have to order them afterwards. I think I'll go with the slim black ones.

@Vedaprime Here is the invoice. Got it the day after the call. Looks like a lot of cars are due to be delivered at the end of Sept...I'm a little sceptical I'll get it in time. I'm getting it delivered to Canberra, and Tesla has told me 'around the 27th of September'. I don't really like that...

White interior probably means you'll be waiting longer... On the plus side, you'll get a white interior!

    Tesla Model 3 in Australia

Got the call! Hidden Vin 4991xx Delivery in Canberra to my address. Will be 27th or 30th they said. Depending on the trucking company. Can confirm I will need to head down Access Canberra and submit the paper to register the vehicle myself. Pretty annoying for a $90k car but I will survive. I...

    Tesla Model 3 in Australia

I'm getting really annoyed that people with no reservation and the same model are getting delivery appointments while I have nothing so far. I paid my reservation the day it was announced, and ordered the week it was available for order, so why the hell did I give Tesla my money for 3 years...

No - the inverter should have a RCD built in. You're thinking about this all wrong. The RCD on your switch board is for devices in your home that consume power.

How does new for old work if you have a Performance Lite, which technically cannot be bought new anymore?

    Tesla Model 3 in Australia

There is a planned one in Torquay (and a charge fox one like some one else mentioned). But that's not really good enough. If you want to drive Torquay -> Port Campbell -> back to Torquary, that's almost 400km. With the windows down and some spirited driving, you're not going to make it (or cut...

They really need one along the great ocean road. Maybe in Apollo bay or the 12 Apostles. Charge while you take in the view :) Edit: Actually make it Port Cambell national park. I like spending some time there better :)
