Used market has really taken a hit [All discussion of Model 3 Resale value]

The other aspect is used vehicles always will drop most in the fall as they essentially become another model year older as 2023's start to roll out. But most of the reason right now is as others have said, just market corrections.

Has Tesla Build quality improved on new Model 3s in 2022?

I disagree that the Model 3 AWD is equivalent to a $30K car (or should be priced as such). The average price of new vehicles has risen substantially over the last 10 years. My sister has a Kia Optima that had an MSRP around $30K and there's nothing I would take from the Kia over what Tesla...

Cannot figure out how to install Basenor Model 3 Mud Flaps (2022 Model)

I installed the Tesbros version of the mud flaps yesterday and the pins required a lot of force to secure. You'll want to make sure the mudflap is pushed all the way up against the fender liner as well, otherwise the clips will have a hard time engaging.

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

Same for me, except I was only given one day to schedule as opposed to multiple. I was given 4 time choices. Doesn't matter, as I can schedule around it, but I thought 1 day only was not really accommodating. I'm hoping to be able to pick it up earlier anyway, but if not, the appointment I...

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

    A few updates came today: M3LR White/White no FSD Order date 1/18 Orig EDD: March EDD#1(1/19): 2/12-3/12 EDD#2 (2/13): 2/26-3/26 EDD#3 (2/24): 3/9-3/19 Vin assigned 2/24 196xxx EDD#4 (2/24): 3/9-3/13 So in the last few hours I've went from a month long window to assigned a VIN & 4 day window...

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

Personally, seeing the stream of impatient buyers place their order and given an estimated delivery month, only to then freak out weekly in this thread leading up to the original month estimated, and in most cases, actually receive the car within that month is becoming very amusing to me. It...

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

I'm just speculating, but I haven't seen many orders with white interiors receiving vins in the past week or so. Could be nothing to it, just something I've noticed.

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

In case you weren't aware, there is a tracker already set up in this thread that you can sort/filter to look at different combinations and when VINs are being assigned in this thread, might save you from duplicating the same effort: Wiki - Model 3 Order Tracking Spreadsheet Teslike Model 3...

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

Just curious, what was your EDD showing before you received your VIN?

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

That may be the case for updating the EDD range, but VIN assignments are not always at set specific times. I received one in the middle of the day on a previous order.

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

I've had better luck talking to someone at my local delivery center, although I do think depending on call volume sometimes those get re-routed to a generic tesla support number.

    Phantom Braking

I think what is lacking is a simple no-frills cruise control. On all the vehicles I've driven that have adaptive cruise or traffic assist systems, they also have the good old fashioned maintain speed you set cruise control as an option as well. Is this not something offered by Tesla?

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

Congrats - seems like the original date of February when you placed your order was pretty accurate after all.

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

I think at this point there's probably no need to confirm the new chip / battery if your last six of the vin is starting above 161xxx.

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

I was about to suggest this as well. Assuming the monthly price remains the same, you'd need to own the car for 5 years before you'd break even (not even considering what you could do with the 12K in that time period). Plus, the FSD stays with the car if you sell it and it may not help your...
