Discussion: HW.4 Suite - Availability, retrofit, suitability etc.

I also have heard that HW4 Model Ys don't have discrete GPU, while HW3 Model Ys do. And also that HW4 model Ys have non-ECC RAM while HW3 model Ys have ECC RAM. Is this true?

Discussion: HW.4 Suite - Availability, retrofit, suitability etc.

Hello, it looks like the new Tesla Model Ys with hardware 4 are now coming with 8gb ram and 128gb storage for the infotainment system. However, hardware 3 model Ys used to come with double that, at 256gb storage and 16gb ram. What are the consequences of having less ran and storage? As the...

Should I take delivery of this model Y?

I did not take delivery as they refused to fix it on the spot.

Should I take delivery of this model Y?

Should I take delivery of this model Y? The exterior of this car looks fantastic EXCEPT for the rear passenger side door being misaligned: If I take delivery, will this be easily fixable by Tesla Service? Or will they just tell me it's "within spec" even though the door clearly seems misaligned?

    Rear seat clicking noise

Hi, I am noticing that around 50% of the time, there's this strange clicking/ticking noise in my 2023 model Y. It sounds like it's coming from either the roof or the back seat somewhere? I've attached a video here as reference.

Model Y Rear Hatch Seems Misaligned/Not Flush With Roof?

Hi, I recently noticed on my new Model Y that the passenger side of the rear hatch seems to be not flush with the roof. Here are pictures of the passenger side, which I think the hatch sits much lower than the roof: However, the drivers side seems to be just fine?: Which side is the...

Why did Tesla Service Touch My Perfectly Fine Panels and Make it Worse // Best Service Center in Bay Area Recs?

do you mean that you got most of your panel issues "fixed" at the Burlingame SC? Or most of your panel issues are "from" the Burlingame SC?

Why did Tesla Service Touch My Perfectly Fine Panels and Make it Worse // Best Service Center in Bay Area Recs?

Why was that a mistake? The door was very problematic

Why did Tesla Service Touch My Perfectly Fine Panels and Make it Worse // Best Service Center in Bay Area Recs?

No gaps on passenger door. The issue with the door wasn't panel gaps. The door would make a really loud booming noise when opening. Tesla fixed this issue. Not sure how fixing the door is now causing panel gaps near trunk/taillights

Why did Tesla Service Touch My Perfectly Fine Panels and Make it Worse // Best Service Center in Bay Area Recs?

Hi folks, recently I had my model Y passenger side rear door adjusted at a Tesla Service Center. It was raining a lot on that day, so I couldn't really look at the results too closely. However, when I got home in my garage, I noticed that now I have weird panel gaps near the trunk that was not...
