    Why is the odometer hidden?

Thanks for that! In that threa, they posted this picture which was helpful because usually the car's not here for me to run out and try to find stuff.

    Why is the odometer hidden?

Thanks! Somebody else posted a link to another post that included this picture.

    Why is the odometer hidden?

Thanks! That's great. Next level question: While re-learning the swiping, I accidentally swiped the cards down and away and I can't figure out how to get them back. Tried swiping in all directions- nothing. I got out and shut the car down and started up again, twice, but I can't find them. Do...

    Why is the odometer hidden?

Thanks for that. Very helpful. Apparently I did that years ago and forgot, and also forgot that you can swipe sideways to see the other cards. And then while re-learning that, I accidentally swiped the cards down and away and I can't figure out how to get them back. I got out and shut the car...

    Why is the odometer hidden?

Yeah, agreed, you make some good points. Thanks for that. But "it's always been that way" is a good enough reason for me! Mostly because I like to do stupid little math games with the mileage, especially on long drives- calculating what mileage I'll be at when I get to Syracuse, what I'll be at...

    Why is the odometer hidden?

Is it possible to get my Model 3 to display the odometer on the homescreen while driving? If I want to see it while driving, it's unsafe to have to go fish for it in the software screen and then have that screen obscure the map. Is there an easier way to see the odometer than going to the...

app says 137 miles when I stop charging (home), but when I unplug car screen says 128 miles!

I never know what percentage I am from home or a charger.

Unexpected 100% volume since last update?

FWIW, I have had my iPhone ringer and alert volume set to about 60% and I have been blasted at 100% volume by my 2019 M3 a few times, only once when playing from my phone, and a few times when playing the radio.

Unexpected 100% volume since last update?

FWIW, I have had it happen while playing from my phone (and dialing down the phone volume has no effect) and also from the radio.

Model S 23 Sound System Stops Randomly Working Entirely

Have you gotten past this problem yet? My 2019 M3 started doing some of this in early September. Driving along, not doing anything, volume ramps up to maximum volume in about 2 seconds. This is a safety issue- scares the crap outta me as I scramble to shut it down in a panic. Steering wheel...

HV Battery Died with 7 miles range left showing on Range display

FWIW, I heard from my local phone repair guy that SOC accuracy gets worse at the bottom of the range, AND as the battery ages, making for a compounding effect… That said, the one time that extreme cold sucked the last 15 miles of range out of our reading within 4 hours while it was sitting, I...

Anyone else suddenly lose 15+ miles of range?

Wait, what? Accessing your phone ap draws on your car battery, even when it is miles away? I guess that makes sense, but can you say more?

Switch to hourly pricing for charging at home

This is a recommendation for anybody who charges at home to see if they can get a better rate from their electric utility. Where I live, just north of Chicago, we have the option to switch our billing method with Commonwealth Edison to hourly pricing, rather than paying a flat $.13/kWh at all...

FS: TapTes Wireless Charger for Tesla Model 3

I have a 2019 Model 3. Do you still have the phone charger? Interested.

    Tire rotation

My experience: My wife's Model 3 (SR, single motor) went 42,000 miles before I remembered, oh yeah, even EVs need some maintenance, including rotating tires. 3 of them were fine and good to go, and the back right tire was halfway to bald. Very stark difference. YMMV, but I wonder if my...
