    [UK] 2021.32.x

There is a discussion further up the thread about the torque needed to exit AP when indicating to move out of lane. The torque was much increased in 32.10. Today I had chance to try 32.21 and believe the required torque to be much reduced again, though not zero. Has anyone else experienced this?

    Second test drive today

...and note it says "when" and not "if" ;)

    Panic buying!

Any idea where that 1600% comes from? Google Trends doesn’t seem to show significant movement in the UK on the topic of electric vehicles over the last month.

    [UK] 2021.32.x

Thank you. That is interesting; I had no trials but it definitely used to work and seemed like a sensible way to have things set up. Now I have to cancel with the right hand and indicate with the left, which is a faff. Better get used to it I suppose.

    [UK] 2021.32.x

Upgrade to 21.32.10 a couple of days ago. MIC SR+ delivered March 21. No FSD. This weekend did ~300 mile round trip Shropshire to Cambridge. Motorway + fast A roads. Mainly sunny but with an hour of heavy rain. Mostly on TACC with a bit of AP. No phantom braking, just some slowing down where...

Charge place scotland since takeover - all fine?

My new CPS card arrived today, almost 5 weeks after ordering it and more importantly 2 weeks after the trip for which it was ordered. Good job they don't seem to have charged for it.

Real world range in layman's terms

With a MIC 2021 SR+, and driving at the speed limit where possible, this summer I have been getting 200-220, when mainly motorway driving. That is plenty for me (when asked the inevitable question about range, I now answer that the battery is bigger than my bladder, which is all that matters)...

Charge place scotland since takeover - all fine?

We were potential importers not exporters. Picked it up over in the Cairngorms meeting a group of friends to celebrate someone‘s final Corbett. We were only in FW two nights and spent the day in the hills so hopefully caused no additional cases.

Charge place scotland since takeover - all fine?

Just back from a week in Scotland. Registered with CPS three weeks beforehand but no card as yet and no response to email or Twitter. Only used 2 CPS chargers - App not working but started one with a debit card (no charge) and the other with a Tesco club card (no points deducted). Stayed in Fort...

Chargeplace Scotland - App or RFID card?

I created my account a few days ago and ordering the card was part of the sign up process. Hasn’t arrived yet though - it did say 5-10 business days, so hopefully next week sometime.

    [UK] 2021.12.x

Tried the Asteroids game once as it took me back to my youth, but didn't find it easy to control using the car. Or maybe I'm just a lot worse at it after a 40 year break.

there was me thinking the adapter was because they drove on the other side and so had to use positrons.

Tesla open up the SuC network [in UK]

This resonates with me. Recently moved to SR+ after 4 years with an i3. Found the i3 to be a lovely car but didn’t do much long distance and when I did was glad I had the Rex version. Didn’t do many miles on Rex but worth it for piece of mind. SuC network was a key motivation for me spending...

Before buying your Tesla, did you ever Test Drive one?

Was also looking at the e-Niro and did manage to test drive that. It was fine, but just like any car really. The M3 gives me the sense of fun I had when I got the last car, an i3.

Proof of payment - Is this necessary?

I asked the question to the sales assistant I had been emailing various questions and was told I did not need to take proof since payment was showing in my account.
