If you want a hitch, then put on a hitch. I did and it’s been great for both towing and weekly use with a bike rack. 3 years and no issues. Life’s too short to worry about the small stuff.
The rollout continues. According to Teslafi, a M3 in Quebec received the update at 8:10am. Looks like most are upgrading from 2022.4.5.4 and 253 cars have that version in Canada.
While it’s understandable that costs will increase over time, this was an unannounced 70% increase. I charge at home but make regular long distance trips and use Superchargers multiple times per week. The additional charging cost is substantial and lessens the value of a Tesla EV which we have...
Last winter was the first for my Eco hitch and I removed the receiver and replaced the cover. I also use it for a bike rack but don’t ride in the colder weather and thought the open hole would collect slush and dirt. The snows are on but I have yet to remove the receiver this year - later this week!

With shipping it was $677 CND and works well for both bikes and utility trailer. The receiver can be easily removed so you don’t see the hitch.
