    Performance Model 3 drifing/burning rubber

That looks like a RWD car to me... or it certainly has a lot of RWD bias in power delivery

    InsureMyTesla

I think the real benefit of this new insurance partnership is 'Genuine Replacement Parts' ;) Oh wait...

    Hundreds of Dismissals this week

I love the how often the term 'fake news' is misstated these days. Brando assumes that the 400-700 firings are the ONLY people turning over at Tesla. IF that's true, the arithmetic works - but I'm CERTAIN that these weren't the only people leaving Tesla. (Hint - Turnover includes all reasons...

    17.24.30 HW2

This sounds really dangerous... especially for the folks behind you. Random braking is never good, particularly from highway speeds to surface street speeds.

Could a significant number of pre-configured, finalized Model 3s already exist...?

What day is the launch day? A build and hold strategy would play well with the Fed tax credit, allowing max deliveries with full credit in the quarter they hit 200k.

Motley Fool story - Tesla Replacement Part Delays

So you think everyone should have to call a VP to get action? It doesn't take a personal Tesla experience to recognize that as problematic. (I'm long TSLA)

WOW! This car just burned down....

If there's wifi at CoPart, an OTA update will fix that right up.

    $5k Delivery fee? Really?

Wasn't there a submarine Easter Egg at one point? ;) Now I just need to find the SuperCharger map for the Pacific...

    $5k Delivery fee? Really?

I've never paid more than $800 to ship to either coast, northern or southern parts. Granted, it's been a few years since I've done that. I could swallow $1200 when considering large company mark ups (Tesla) and the associated detailing from being on a truck. $2k seems excessive, especially at...

    $5k Delivery fee? Really?

The site doesn't say where it is... I'm pretty sure it used to. In fact, I know it did, because I used to be able to filter to the closest locations. Others are in the $2k range. That's a lot of dough to deliver a car.

    $5k Delivery fee? Really?

Does that also come with some extra special services? Was searching the CPO's and found one I liked, until I saw this:

MX HW2 detects overpasses as a car and hard breaks

First - thanks for using the proper 'brake' (not break). This is a pet peeve of mine. Second - you ARE lucky the person behind you was paying attention and able to react in time. This is extremely dangerous, and the danger extends far beyond the immediate car behind you. The impact of this...

    Major revisions every 1-2 years.

Bingo. This is where I struggle the Tesla the most, and the area where I find I have the least amount in common with Tesla owners. I really dig the electric propulsion and the way Tesla has created a desire for the cars, but a lot of that Tesla-created desire is for reasons that are very...

    Major revisions every 1-2 years.

To me, a major revision is more in the form of hardware. Like revised interior and exterior design, trim packages, and to a lesser degree optional/functional equipment. 1-2 years is pretty short for a body/interior refresh by any auto manufacturer standards, so I doubt that's what he meant...

    Tesla Advertising the X?

OK... but how will they get the referral credit? Clicking on the link only takes you to the generic ordering page.
