    Supercharger - Destin, FL - US-98

In regards to the FPL Evolution CCS-1 stations from my original post…Mainly these would be used by non-Tesla vehicles that came with CCS-1 connections for their DC Fastcharging. However, all new Teslas made 2022 and after (except the Cybertruck) have the ability to use CCS stations as long as...

    Supercharger - Destin, FL - US-98

It may not be what everyone wants (Tesla Supercharger) but it looks like Florida Power and Light’s( FPL) Evolution Network is planning on stepping up its DC Fast Charging game in NW Florida. Plugshare now shows “Coming Soon” addresses in Destin, Ft Walton Beach, and Inlet Beach. See the...

DIY Installing CCS Retrofit in My US 2017 Model X

I’m starting to see North American Model X Retrofit Kits for sale now. We used to have to order the European kits. Send me a direct message and I can help you get your hands on a kit if you can’t order directly from Tesla. Also here is a link to a YouTube video specific to the Model X CCS...

DIY Installing CCS Retrofit in US Model S

The European kit will work just fine on your North American Model S as long as you have the Refresh Kit. Have a 2018 North American Model S and I installed the European kit on it about a year ago. It works just fine. I think I have posted the NA part number here on TMC, I will look later on...

    Adaptors for '13S

I just found these references for the original Gen 1 and Gen 2 charge controllers. https://openinverter.org/wiki/Tesla_Model_S_GEN1_Charger https://openinverter.org/wiki/Tesla_Model_S/X_GEN2_Charger It looks like they have the same 12-pin Logic Connector (MX150L) that the Gen2 chargers use...

    Adaptors for '13S

Rocky_H There have been three different versions of the Onboard Chargers for the Model S (maybe 4 now with the post 2021 update). There are versions that work with the Gen2 and Gen 3 Onboard Chargers, but I am still searching to see if anyone has been able to connect the Pre-Refresh (2012-Mar...

DIY Installing CCS Retrofit in US Model S

Slowly digging up some info on the North American CCS1 kits (include adapter, wiring harness, and ECU). Pulled the parts numbers for a couple of the kits from Service Center invoices that people have posted here on TMC. Model X (Sep 2015-Feb 2021)--P/N 1652003-00-A Model S (refresh, Apr...

DIY Installing CCS Retrofit in US Model S

Sorry everyone, that is the downfall of thinking your experiences are the same as everyone else. I had just assumed that since I could go in and purchase it directly now that everyone else could as well. I have a Salvage/Rebuilt 2018 Model S with the DIY CCS install on it and I can purchase...

    CCS Retrofit Availability (2023)

Tress, the Part number was on the receipt you posted on 7 March, I am just wondering what type of Model S you have....Refreshed (after April 2016) or Pre-Refresh (prior to 2016). They should have different wiring harnesses so I am trying to figure out the correct part number for the different...

DIY Installing CCS Retrofit in US Model S

Okay, I think everybody is slightly correct and slightly incorrect on this discussion so lets get some clarification going! tiburci my two quick questions for you are.... 1. What part number is on the OUTSIDE of the big cardboard box that contained all the parts in your picture? Because that...

CCS retrofit service center availability for 2018 Model S?

This is the Gateway Configuration change that has been discussed earlier on this thread. The only way to get this changed right now is to either talk someone at a Service Center into making the update for you or (if you own a salvage/rebuilt vehicle) tracking down someone that has a special...

DIY Installing CCS Retrofit in US Model S

Partially correct. Correct: The European CCS Combo 2 Retrofit Kits do come with the CCS2 adapter in the same box as the ECU and Wiring Harness. Obviously the CCS2 adapter is useless here in North America and South Korea. I was just selling them back to people in Europe. Incorrect: That...

DIY Installing CCS Retrofit in US Model S

Picture is from the thread that MP3Mike referenced in his post above. Man I wished I had read this earlier. I just went up to Atlanta on Saturday (22 Apr) and helped a guy install the CCS hardware on his Salvage 2017 Model X (video coming soon). If I had know this update was being released...

DIY Installing CCS Retrofit in US Model S

I’m pretty interested in how he got the kit as well. Hopefully I’m that trustworthy guy. But I’m just doing it because salvage owners need the kits here in North America and I figured out how to import the European Kits for a reasonable price. I will gladly quit the import/export business...
