Tidal shuffle appears to be broken.

For me the playback is not randomized when I select shuffle on a downloaded playlist, but I will re-check it since there have been an update since last time I tried it.

Tidal shuffle appears to be broken.

Are you pressing shuffle from a downloaded playlist or a playlist that is being streamed? You press the shuffle button on the left side of the screen where the "now playing" widget is displayed? When I press the shuffle button on mine it switches the view to "playlists" and does not shuffle...

Tidal shuffle appears to be broken.

Nobody? I was able to reproduce this on another car so it appears that either I don't understand how this feature work or the feature is broken.

Tidal shuffle appears to be broken.

I have several downloaded Tidal playlists on my Tesla and would like to randomize these playlists. When I am listening and select the random icon on the lower left screen playback widget the "next playing" list switches to showing the next playlist, not the next track. So shuffle is definitely...

Wiper Issues on both my 2022 & 2023 Model Y

I have also noticed this issue since an update a couple of months ago and it is still present after the last dot release bug fix load. Wiper will turn on periodically when windshield is dry and completely clean. Worse, when it does this it does one half hearted wipe and then the wipers do not...

Trunk vs Frunk which is more secure in 2023

Wow, did you really register just to post this? You cannot use the emergency release leads to open the frunk unless the vehicle's 12V battery is dead. So yes, the frunk is likely much more secure than the trunk. Anyone willing to break a window can get into the trunk... you'd have to open the...

    2023 Holiday Update Imminent

Update loaded today, the new parking features are pretty exciting. I am having a problem with Tidal though. Ever since the update and even after a manual reboot of the system Tidal seems to be somewhat broken. Tapping the "My Collection" tab results in just spinning and nothing ever loads...

Tidal app download in car - what quality?

This is correct. MQA is lossy it’s just far higher definition than CD assuming the original recording was mastered at sufficient resolution.

Can solar only be used to charge powerwalls during a power outage?

I am only looking at two power walls. My usage is around 650-800kwh per month depending on season. 20kwh would be enough to run the home for close to 24 hours during a power failure with no solar generation such as winter if panels are covered in snow. If I disconnected non essential loads and...

Can solar only be used to charge powerwalls during a power outage?

Ok interesting. Does the Tesla gateway have a circuit interrupter to shut the power off? My installer seems pretty up to speed so they can probably fill me in on options for doing this.

Can solar only be used to charge powerwalls during a power outage?

I already have nearly 7kw on my existing system but I would need to replace my existing Fronius string inverter with a Tesla inverter

Can solar only be used to charge powerwalls during a power outage?

Another interesting thing I've learned in my research is that Xcel Energy will provide a rebate that covers about 30% of the cost of power walls but in return Xcel gets the ability to control the PowerWalls ... so that during peak usage they can tell your PowerWalls to start delivering output...

Can solar only be used to charge powerwalls during a power outage?

Yes, I was advised I would need several (probably 3-4) power walls to be able to run everything for a day or two during a long term outage. Run everything means using major electric appliances like electric oven, induction cooktop, clothes dryer, etc. Because I work from home and do network...

Can solar only be used to charge powerwalls during a power outage?

Thanks for the info Bruce, that's good news, because I would probably have enough solar capacity most of the time (non winter) to run things in a limited fashion indefinitely with that being the case.... solar during the day charging batteries and running my stuff and then powerwall keeping...

Can solar only be used to charge powerwalls during a power outage?

I have an existing 13 year old 7kw system and am in discussions to expand the system with another 3-4kw of capacity, installation of Tesla string inverter for the new smaller system and one or more power walls. I plan to use the powerwalls for time of day load shifting as well as for emergency...
