Just finished a bag install and used that method. The controller display flashes and dims. Eventually it turned off. Hmmmm

Here's what I had to do. Drilled and dremeled a slit. Now I can see what to cover. I used black rtv because that's what I had. Also used to seal it back up. Not only a camera calibration is needed but the car has to power off and back on to recognize the camera again. BIG THANKS to Tevo...

I have the 5000ext for our 3 and Y. It barely gets the Y up but it works. I would get the 7000.

@Herroweric Big Brake Kit!! I did a BBK and extended my studs at the same time. Let me know if you have any questions. I was able to press the studs out without removing the hub and not by hammer of course. Oh love the BBS!!!

Sorry to bring up an old thread. So what was the final outcome? Do the rotors and calipers fit? I have a MYLR that I just did a BBK. My wife has a M3SR+and was thinking to put the brakes on her car since they're painted red. Has anybody done it? Thanks!!

I was thinking about trying this also but possibly opening up the housing and put the film over the bulb part. Not sure if they would open up like a headlight housing.

Per requests to OP. 15mm spacers F/R on 10.5 et40. Final et of 25 all around. Pretty wide, definitely will rub and need to run negative camber.

I just finished, well almost finished my air suspension self install! Still have to install the height sensors. I went with an Airlift 3H and Air Demand suspension on my MY. Mounted the tank above the compressors so we still have room in the frunk.

Of course you can flip directional tires! You flip them and you mount them on the other side of the car. Been doing that for years with directional staggered tires. Of course you have to pay mount and balance every time but you get more life out of them before you have to buy a whole new set...

Camber doesn’t even look bad. Plus you can always flip the tires.

Top is the front and the bottom is the rear. Hope this helps!

Spacers for the most part are for aesthetic purposes to get your wheels flush to the fender. Nobody likes the look of a sunken battleship! Spacers also can be used on a high offset wheel that might hit suspension components.

Haven’t done an alignment yet. Not many cars have adjustable camber, stock. UPP and MPP have rear camber arms for $400 and front a arms for well over $1000!! Not cheap at all. Alignment shops can get your toe back into spec which is more important. I didn’t measure the height before I lowered it...

I told the wifey before delivery, “Hey I’m lowering your car and I already ordered the springs.” She likes it better lowered!! Hehe

Touché! Much better lowered. I added 15/20 mm spacers for the time being. I think the PUP can’t fit the 15mm without modification.

I haven’t got an alignment yet. It has a little negative camber. I’ll eventually get one.

Nice setup! Any pics showing the front pokeage? I installed the moderate springs too and wish they were a lil lower. They do have coilovers with the sport springs, which is adjustable to get lower. Not sure how the ride would be though.

Suspension feels the same during normal driving. I haven’t been able to test out the performance on them yet because it’s actually raining in San Diego. They should reduce some body roll. The mild drop springs I hear might be softer.

Lowered the Y with Unplugged Performance moderate springs. Might add spacers or just finally make up my mind on rims.

Do you have any updated pictures with the spacers? Is it it too much poke? Any rubbing? I'm lowering my Y this weekend with the same springs. I love what you've done to the Y so far!!
