Tidal and in car audio with 2021.40.x

I want to know this too! Also, hoping against hope that Tidal will be able to play my FLAC files.

App is getting 500 server error. Cant connect.

Yep. TeslaFi shows it was communicating for a while but it's down again now.

    Sleep Mode - Teslafi

Yes, only when you're using the ABRP app or website. For example, if you're doing route planning for a trip it will wake up your car if you've opted to link to your Tesla account. I still recommend linking your account as you can monitor actual to plan while you're driving which I find very...

    Sleep Mode - Teslafi

I have had no issues with TeslaFi and sleeping. As others have mentioned, problems with sleep are usually related to other apps, including A Better Route Planner (which I love, just need to be aware).

    2021.36.x

I use the feature to time high-percentage charging (charging to 95% or more SOC) to be complete when I am ready to depart. It is not good for the battery to stay at a high SOC for long periods of time.

SERENITY NOW! - Autopilot Chimes are way TOO LOUD!

Joe Mode does not reduce the volume sufficiently. Agree with OP wholeheartedly.

    Speed Sign Recognition in BC

Yes, I thought the problem of identifying yellow "cornering recommendation speeds" was fixed but it still exists. It is better but not perfect. It is also not picking up white highway speed signs in most cases for me. (All comments related to BC).

I (finally) got Android Assistant to Work in the M3!

This has stopped working for me now - not sure if it my new Pixel 5 or something with the way Android Auto works now. Now, when Android Auto starts, it opens the phone audio channel but doesn't close it like it used to. I have to "hang up" the phone in order to be able to hear any other...

    Speed Sign Recognition in BC

This issue seems to be fixed with 2020.48.26. A test drive yesterday showed that the yellow cornering speed recommendation signs are now correctly ignored as speed limits.

    New M3P feels slow

I notice a decrease in acceleration in the winter with my Michelin X-Ice tires. And this is only with a LR + Acceleration Boost. Just not enough traction for the power. I'm sure this would be even more noticeable with a Performance.

    Speed Sign Recognition in BC

This is still not fixed in 2020.48.12.1. Drove many km on Highway 33 yesterday with the car thinking the speed limit with 80 km/h, 60 km/h, 30 km/h etc despite the speed limit being 100 km/h. Hopefully this does not lead to speed limit "corrections" on the built-in map.

    Speed Sign Recognition in BC

The cornering speed recognition is not fixed in 2020.48.10. In BC, any yellow speed sign is not an enforceable limit, just a recommendation.

    Thermostat

A single temperature setpoint means that the car is likely (but not always) going to be using extra energy to heat or cool the outdoor air to achieve the single setpoint. If instead you have separate heating and cooling setpoints, the inside temperature is allowed to float between the two...

    Speed Sign Recognition in BC

How are people finding the accuracy of speed sign recognition? In town, it is now generally reliable. At first (can't remember which version - 2020.40.8?), it had problems on local roads, interpreting certain signs as speed limits when they weren't. For example, this "winding road for next 5...

Battery capacity loss and weird fluctuation.

This is happening to my Model 3 LR AWD as well. I will charge to 70% overnight and when I get in the car in the morning I have 73%. I have been talking to one of the mobile techs about this and he says he hasn't heard about. This started happening right about when the BMS started reporting...

Mobile connector button does not open charge port

I have been having this problem (mobile charger button not opening charge port) with my M3 lately. I have also noticed (but possibly imagined) that the locking behaviour of the connector has changed as well. I can hear it locking and unlocking at different times whereas I think I remember that...

Tesla removes regenerative braking strength option

I don't think full regen is safe in very slippery conditions because throttle lift-off it is more difficult to modulate than braking in my experience. And I use "normal" regen 100% of the time in non-slippery conditions so I am very familiar with it. Ultimately, I want to be able to lift my...

The BMS giveth and the BMS taketh away

    Western Canada Superchargers

I work for FortisBC, the local electric company that owns many of the DCFC stations on Highway 3 and other southern routes. The two stations in Nelson (each is a dual port CCS/CHAdeMO) were installed earlier this year.

"Acceleration Boost" option, discussion as to which models and how much quicker

If Chill mode in my AWD+ is any indication, Chill mode in the Performance will be slower than any other Model 3 in "normal" driving mode. You can try Acceleration Boost and request a refund for up to 48 hours. I did. And then I re-purchased it a week later. :)

    Premium Connectivity in Canada

I had an SA tell me (via email): With regards to the premium connectivity, just like the website and order agreement didn't specify "only a year" it also didn't specify "lifetime premium connectivity". So the 1-year included premium connectivity stands. All Tesla's excluding the Standard Range...

    Tesla 3 got "broken" into

If they are using TeslaFi, they can view the raw data logs to find out whether the car was locked. Too late to get the data now if they aren't already using it though.

Hmm. I don't think so unfortunately. The car will still go to sleep and need to be woken up.

Interest in separate heating and cooling setpoints

Completely agree. So would you like the ability to have a different setpoint for heating? Or just be able to turn heating off?
  37. BR666T

Interest in separate heating and cooling setpoints

That's not the case. I know that if the temperature drops below the setpoint that the heater will turn on. I know that if the temperature rises above the setpoint the A/C will turn on (if enabled). Exactly why I want to be able to set the heating setpoint at 19 degrees and the cooling at 21...

Interest in separate heating and cooling setpoints

If this works for you, that's great. I don't want to have the fan turned off due to condensation build-up. Plus, this requires manual intervention.

Interest in separate heating and cooling setpoints

I am posting this in the Canada forum, partly because this is a cross-model issue and partly because this will affect Canadian owners more than countries with more temperate climates. I wish that Tesla allowed us to have separate heating and cooling setpoints. In other words, a heating...

    Supercharger - Osoyoos, BC

I agree that it would be really nice to have a CCS adapter, or at least a 100 kW CHAdeMO adapter, now that we are beginning to see some higher power stations being deployed. 50 kW feels pretty darn slow after a Supercharger!
