    Work truck funtionality for construction

There are many aftermarket rack companies for truck & vans. Won't be surprised if some of them already working on racks for the Cybertruck.

Elon: We can reduce the length 6+ inches

Buyers want more cabin & bed spaces, longer wheelbase, better approach & department angles.... Not necessarily mean longer 'overall-length' of the vehicle. With the luxury to design a revolutionary EV pickup truck from scratch (without an ICE engine hanging in the front,) why not make the...

Service center was sold out of 14-50 adapter, fastest way to get one?

How urgent is the situation? I think the Tesla website has it in stock. I ordered something (a frunk mat) from the Tesla website lately, I received it in a few days. Gen 2 NEMA Adapters

    Home deliveries?

I had the Tesla Home Delivery in September, and I was happy about it. It saved me a lot of time. I actually had Tesla delivered the car (a 2019 Model S LR) to my office, which was about 27 miles away from the Tesla Factory at Fremont, California. The driver called my office when he started...

Great article, thanks for sharing. That is impressive for the Model S Long Range -- 359 miles with 11% battery left (400 miles combined.)

Have an Audi R8, does a Tesla or some other EV make sense for my commute?

OP, might you consider to replacing your Audi R8 with a Model S ‘Raven’ Performance? It can do everything from commute to fun, plus more. Recently, I replaced my Mercedes S550 with a Model S ‘Raven’ Long Range, and I never looked back. The only regret was that I should have done it sooner.

2020 Porsche Taycan Turbo Gets EPA Range Rating Of Just 201 Miles

With 201 miles and $150k-$170k price, the Taycan Turbo is DOA.

    Porsche Taycan EPA range

I am so spoiled by the 373 miles range on my Model S Long Range.... not sure I can comfortably go back to 201 miles range on a Porsche Taycan Turbo, especially it almost doubles the price with options.

    Truck bed Suggestion

I have a truck, and I love trucks. I do like the Sail Pillar Exterior Storage, it kind of reminds me of the RAMBox. I assume they are lockable? It is nice to store smaller tools for easy access from the side of the truck. Most of the time, I access the bed through the tailgate. A bed-step...

Elon: We can reduce the length 6+ inches

Sorry, without better words to describe it.... I think the designers can 'lean back a few degrees' of the tailgate angle, without most people noticing the difference, to shorter the overall-length 2-3 inches. It wouldn't affect the wheelbase, bed length, or cabin space. Just a thought.

Elon: We can reduce the length 6+ inches

On another matter... I know some buyers who choose the mid-size truck (Colorado, Tacoma, Canyon, etc.) because of the smaller size.... easier to maneuver and park in cities and spaces. I think the Cororada Crew Cab 6'2" Box is about 224.9 inches long, and the Tacoma Double Cab Long Bed is...

Elon: We can reduce the length 6+ inches

That is great news to me, and it will 100% secure my order of the Cybertruck. Please make it so, Elon. With a few inches shorter in overall length; not only it can be parked inside the garage (for overnight charging,) it can also allow walk-through space to get to the passenger side without...

Which charger is everyone going with? wall charger or portable plug in?

I use the Tesla Wall Charger with NEMA 14-50 plug. My garage has a 14-50 outlet that I use for my previous EV cars, so it's just plug-and-play. Unfortunately, Tesla does not make this model anymore.

What changes to production Cybertruck ?

Since it is an EV vehicle and likely will be charged overnight at home; it would be nice to not make the Cybertruck too long, so it could be parked inside most garages and parking spaces, for charging. It is an expensive truck and it is eye-catching. It does not have an ICE engine in the...

    Will it fit?

My RAM is 229 inches long and it has a tight fit inside the garage. Another 3 to 4 inches longer, and it would be a no-go to park inside. Elon, please consider to not make the Cybertruck too long to park inside most of the garages (for charging overnight) or parking spaces. It would open up...

    Cybertruck as a daily driver?

I have a RAM Rebel as a daily drive, and I enjoy it very much. It has 4 corner air-suspension, rides almost as smooth as my Mercedes S550e and corners flat. The interior is luxurious, big comfortable seats, and lots of room. It can go anywhere, and carry anything I throw on it. I look...

cybertruck is going to fail ? I doubt it

To me, the biggest issue is that Tesla called it a 'truck' and many folks started to compare it with 'traditional pickup trucks.' Tesla should brand it as a '$40K Mars Buggy' that one can own and drive on Earth... Legally. :)
  34. axhoaxho

What changes to production Cybertruck ?

Since nowadays many owners add Paint Protection Film to protect the surfaces of their beloved vehicles, it would be nice for Tesla to offer factory paint protection film as an option. I for one would gladly pay it.

    Exoskeleton body repair cost

No matter how many times it is rolled, 300-series stainless steel will show scratches, period. The minor scratches can be easily removed, like others mentioned. In fact, DeLorean recommended its owners to use a 'Scotchbrite' pad to remove minor scratches on the DeLorean.

    POLL: Will you buy?

I will buy, but the first thing I will do is to wrap it. Lamborghini and Jeep Wrangler pull-off angular design lines by offering colorful paints. In fact, if I were Tesla, I would skip the traditional paint job on this Cybertruck, and offer only wraps with different colors (or even funky...
