Laser detection definitely works during testing but I mostly had it muted during normal driving. I used AL Priority for laser jamming on my previous car so had no need for V1 laser alerts. I do have a little tester which is made to test laser and the V1 would pick it up during testing.

The Model S has been around since 2012 I would hardly say it's obsolete.

$931 per 6 months with Geico for a Model S P100D. They were the cheapest by far I compared to USAA and State Farm.

Same delivery window for my P100D at Syosset. Our cars are probably on the same truck.

I spoke with DMV who said I am looking at 3-4 months for my legacy plates. They also said regular white personalized plates are delayed just as long because of the backlog. Does anyone know if this is true? From what I been reading that doesn't seem to be the case and just the legacy are delayed.

The floor is actually a metallic epoxy with a strong sealer on top. It holds up pretty well and is not slippery if you add some grit before it goes down.

My P100D delivery is scheduled for next week. It looks like I'll be cancelling if it doesn't include the new hardware and I imagine many will be doing the same.

Manhasset isn't too far just take Northern Blvd but in traffic it will be about a 25 minute commute. They also only have HPWC there so it's not practical for daily charging if you have to commute to it. Traveling from Great Neck to Syosset charge could be a journey especially in traffic.
