The many people you mention apparently don't purchase EVs either because the sales numbers shows that not only is the M3 untouchable at $35k, it's untouchable even when it's more expensive.

I'm in the 2nd least screwed group which is the early EAP adopter. I've had my car since June 2018, so I have been able to use the features for about 8 months. Is that 8 month worth of using EAP worth $2k? I'm not sure, but with technology in general, prices fluctuate rapidly. So it's all part...
I'm one of those who purchased EAP pre-delivery for $5k. I could have spend an additional $3k for FSD pre-delivery or $4k post-delivery. So I guess Tesla is trying to say that now I only have to pay $2k which is less and a good deal to me. It sort of makes sense.
However, I would like Elon Tusk...
Not sure what you mean by "significant population", but the Model 3 has outsold all of the vehicles you mentioned combined and that's before the base model was even released.
I'm not great at parking in reverse, so it's actually faster than me. Sometimes I would need to readjust to be in the middle of the spot and that makes me feel like a fool. LOL
I use the auto parking feature all the time. The biggest problem is just getting the car to recognize the spot. I have found success by driving very slow and driving a good distance pass the spot.
I sent in my letter on 1/3, they supposedly processed it on 2/8, but I didn't get the stickers until 2/28. Apparently it took 20 days for the letter to get to me.
I'm so glad I purchased mine when the only option was the first production build. With the current options I would have the hardest time deciding what I can and can't live without.
Regarding the 325 mile range, is there any difference in the new LR that's being produced or are they just finally using the real numbers of the EPA test results?
I prefer the landscape orientation of the screen in the Model 3. The gearshift being in the center instead of a stock just takes away storage space.
Overall it does look better. But functionally, I prefer the Model 3 interior.
The headrest is a good point. Literally every other non-Tesla car I've been in has an adjustable headrest.
I've never known anyone who had a Volvo. I'm not a tall person so the thigh cushion wouldn't do much for me.
I use an android phone. Works great for me. I don't have any phone as a key issue.
Assuming the fed doesn't take away the credit that's true. But by 2020, the Model 3 would have been out for almost 3 years. The base model 3 is likely to be available too.
I'm not hating on the car, but...
The Polestar 2 is not a bad car, but why would someone choose that over a Model 3? Especially since it won't be available until 2020?

It's hard being patient when I live in CA and people I know already have sentry mode and I still have to resort to keeping my back seats down so people will be less likely to smash my windows.
I wished the files would be recorded over after a day. With the way it works now, I will need to connect my usb drive to my computer and delete the files on a weekly basis.
